2. INTERNATIONALER ALONISSOS MARATHON 2006

Course: 10 km - 21 km & 42 km Start and finish will be at the port of Patitiri in Alonissos.
CONDUCT OF THE RACE: The race will take place at the 03.06.2006 Saturday at 9 am. TIMING: The time will be measured with the international system

The chips will be delivered necessarily after the finish to the special place. Loss of the chip means disqualification and a cost of 20 € for the athlete. TRANSPORT OF THE ATHLETES TO THE START AREA: The hotels are close to the start of the race so no transport of the athletes is necessary. CLIMATE CONDITIONS Alonissos is likely to have the following climate conditions at the day of the race: Temperature: around 33 C. HEALTH COVERAGE OF THE COURSE: The Municipality of Alonissos is responsible for the health coverage of the course and the creation of health stations and units. At the start, during the course as well as the finish there will be first aid Health stations. At the area of start and finish there will be: An organized doctor's office, where any medical help will be provided if needed. There, the athletes will have the opportunity (wherever needed) to undergo one last clinical and laboratory check. At the COURSE: In the course there will be two motorcycles that will be moving continuously along the course for possible extraordinary events.
